Although former Poison rocker Bret Michaels has been working to get many facets of his personal life together following a brain hemorrhage earlier this year, he has not decided to settle down romantically just yet.
The recent "Celebrity Apprentice" winner took to "The Early Show" Wednesday morning to promote his new album "Custom Built", and he was quickly asked about rumors that he was engaged to Kristi Lynn Gibson, who is the mother of both of his children:
"No. We are not engaged yet. We're a work in progress."
For a while earlier this year, it wasn't even a given that Bret would be alive to meet Kristi at the altar. After suffering a brain hemorrhage, the early signs for the rocker were not good. However, he has since recovered to an extent and is even campaigning to be the next "American Idol" judge.
Do you think Bret should join "Idol" soon? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
