A Bremen man was arrested Tuesday on multiple child sexual abuse charges including using a foreign object to penetrate the young victim.
Howard Eugene Yarbrough, 69, of Bremen was arrested and charged with two counts child molestation, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery.
A person commits the offense of aggravated sexual battery when he or she intentionally penetrates with a foreign object the sexual organ or anus of another person without the consent of that person.
A person commits the offense of sexual battery when he or she intentionally makes physical contact with the intimate parts of the body of another person without the consent of that person.
A person commits the offense of child molestation when he or she does any immoral or indecent act to or in the presence of or with any child under the age of 16 years with the intent to arouse or satisfy the sexual desires of either the child or the person.
A person commits the offense of aggravated child molestation when such person commits an offense of child molestation which act physically injures the child or involves an act of sodomy.
Yarbrough remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.
