A very popular Breckenridge wedding venue, Sapphire Point, is a dangerously beautiful location. Dangerous I say because it's a steep mountain road that offers tremendous views before arriving at the dirt path loop that allows the public to walk behind the ceremony location.
So, while it is a small, intimate outdoor setting, there are no guarantees that a loud family might not realize your event is happening. This can be prevented with some signs or someone monitoring those entering the trail.
Dangerous because if it rains, there is no covered structure to act as a back up. The only immediate shelter is the restroom at the trail entrance.
Simply wait out the storm, be patient and once the storm has passed, you carry on with your plans of an outdoor wedding overlooking Lake Dillon. Storms in the high country are usually fast-moving.
