The Bud Light Concert Series continues tomorrow at Breckenridge Ski Area with Blues Traveler closing out the concert series for the season. Both shows are free to the public and the entertainment is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on a specially-constructed stage facing One Ski Hill Place, a RockResort, at the base of Peak 8.
Sunday features a sunrise service on Peak 9, then an on-mountain Easter egg hunt on Peaks 8 and 9. This year, Breck is using compostable Easter eggs for the Easter egg hunt and a new prize redemption process will help reduce waste by making sure fewer eggshells and candy wrappers are left on the mountain.
Also, the eggs will not contain candy, as they often pop open and leave trash and shards across the mountain. Instead, collect your eggs, bring them to the prize redemption tent, located in the base of Peak 8, and exchange them for various options of a baked treats, a little bag of candy, and more. Some eggs will contain special coupons. Breck recommends you get to the mountain early, as the eggs get collected very quickly.
Breck Spring Fever is presented by Breckenridge Ski Resort, Bud Light, Mountain Dew and Red Bull. Associate partners include GoPro, Helly Hansen and Sprint. Breckenridge Ski Resort is open until Sunday, April 27 this year. Go to www.BreckSpringFever.com for more info.
