Breastfeeding drop in clinic in the South Loop

As a follow-up to a previous article about breastfeeding drop in clinics, the South Loop now has a resource for new moms at the Sod Room, The Sod Room is a unique and eco-friendly indoor playspace located in the South Loop. It features recycled cork flooring, low VOC paint, and reclaimed wood and is uniquely designed to utilize as much natural light as possible. The Sod Room offers open play and a multitude of workshops for new parents. One of the newest events to join their calendar is the Breastfeeding Drop In Clinic, provided by Jean Helen Vondriska, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. The Milk and Cookies Breastfeeding Drop in Clinic meets on Wednesdays from 1 - 2:30 PM, cost $40.00. Meet other new moms, talk with Jean about breastfeeding, & have your baby weighed. No need to pre-register. Bundle up and check out the Sod Room. It's warm inside, and you'll feel better is this beautiful eco-friendly surrounding.
