Breaking News: Wonder Woman joins 'Batman vs Superman' and she has been Cast!

Zach Snyder's upcoming Batman vs Superman project just got a little bigger. Just when thought the two iconic superheroes was enough, Synder and WB surprised the world by adding the one and only Wonder Woman. The legendary heroine has been rumored to be a part of the upcoming film, but it seemed to be just speculation. Now, Wonder Woman makes her film debut in the sequel to Man of Steel, and she has been cast.

In the statement from Warner Bros, Zach Snyder confirmed that actress Gal Gadot will be playing Wonder Woman in the anticipated blockbuster. The Israeli actress has not been in many films. Her more notable role has been Giselle Harabo in The Fast and Furious franchise. Now, the former Miss Israel can consider herself to be the first actress to portray Wonder Woman on the silver screen.Gal Gadot joins Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in this sequel. Also starring in the film is Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
