Police in southern China have captured the lone male who attacked people at the Guangzhou Train Station today. He remains unidentified and is being treat at a local hospital, according to Chinese media. Six people were injured.
Four of the injured are being at the General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Area Command of the People's Liberation Army, reported Xin Hua News. The male suspect is being treated as well. His injuries are the result of being shot by the local police there.
Travelers were the victims of Tuesday’s attack, according to CNN. Xin Haun News states that railway operations were not affected.
While Xin Hau News reports there was only one attacker, other media, including CNN, are reporting several attackers. Euronews.com included an interview with a shop owner at the train station who claims to have seen first hand more than one attacker. No specific number is given although the article implies two.
