The Los Angeles Lakers have finally pulled the trigger on the a trade to send veteran point guard Steve Blake to the Golden State Warriors according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports on Feb. 19:

Steve Blake has been traded to Golden State, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

The Lakers trade rumors have been swirling for weeks about the team set to make numerous deals before the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 20. Jordan Hill, Pau Gasol and Chris Kaman have all been mentioned in this Lakers trade rumors along with Blake, but it was thought that the veteran point guard would be the least likely to be moved of the four players.

In exchange for Blake, the Lakers will receive MarShon Brooks and Kent Bazemore from the Warriors according to Wojnarowski:

Golden State's Bazemore and Brooks are on the way to the Lakers as part of the Blake deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

It remains uncertain what the team's intentions are moving forward as a few more trades could be on the table before the buzzer sounds on the NBA trade deadline on Thursday. Hill may be the next player sent elsewhere with the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers battling it out for his services.

Along with Hill potentially headed to the Cavs or Nets, Kaman could be on his way to the Atlanta Hawks. Gasol isn't in the clear either with a trade still possible with less than 24 hours left before the deadline.
