Fans of Danity Kane have been filled with uncertainty all week after reports surfaced from both TMZ and PopWrapped that there was an all-out brawl between members of the all-girl group. Danity Kane has been attempting to make a valiant comeback ever since the group stormed the music world back in 2005.
The group released the song “Lemonade” earlier in the summer that left fans hungry for more, however with current circumstances the way they are it appears that Danity Kane is no more. The reports that have come out is there was an altercation between Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richard while third group member Shannon Bex tried fervently to break up the fight. There are reports that Richard sucker punched O’Day in the head, reports are still unclear as to what exactly happened.
There was a fourth member of the group, Aundrea Fimbres but she pulled out of the group almost immediately after the restoration of the group. It seems like she might have been the glue that kept things together, because ever since she left the group, there has been constant drama.
Aubrey O’Day seems to have made it official that the group is indeed splitting up with this statement, Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now." While group member, Shannon Bex had this to say, “I now must walk away feeling used and manipulated."
There had been reports that at the time of the altercation their album was mostly finished. However, with the way things are now, it seems like this album may never see the light of day.
O’Day has filed a battery report with the police, and they are investigating the incident. This is such unfortunate news for all the Danity Kane fans out there who were beyond excited for their triumphant return.
