A car bomb went off in Ismailia, Egypt a short time ago. The blast was so powerful that it collapsed on of the walls of the US Intelligence building there, injuring at least four people.
Egyptian TV has broadcast film of the building smoldering and nearby buildings have been damaged by fire from the blast.
Ismailia is located just along the Banks of the Suez Canal and has a population of 750,000. It is the founding city of the Muslim Brotherhood.
It is not yet clear who initiated the attack and no one has claimed credit. Both sides are suspicious of the US policy on Egypt, which is convoluted and confused. Those opposed to the Muslim Brotherhood, sees the policies of Barack Obama as favoring the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama recently announced he is cutting off military aid to Egypt's current anti Muslim Brotherhood government.
This is an ongoing story and further details will be made available when there is more to add.
UPDATE 9:42 EST...A second car bomb failed to explode. Soldiers are now searching the area for more. All four wounded are now describes as soldiers.
