Breaking News: Amber Alert issued for two Lancaster children

An Amber Alert was issued by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for the Lancaster City Police Department (LCPD) for two children who were abducted from a home in Lancaster. At approximately 7:30 p.m. last evening, three year old Erielys Ahorro and her brother four year old John Ahorrio (seen in this photo courtesy of PSP) were abducted at gunpoint by their father and grandfather.

Eddie Ahorrio, Jr., 23, and his father Eddie Ahorrio, Sr., 47, abducted the children from a house on Almanac Avenue, according to PSP. The children’s mother was staying there with her boyfriend. She and Eddie Jr. were still married, reported several other media. There was a physical altercation between Eddie Jr. and the mother’s boyfriend.

The Ahorrios fled the area in a black Nissan Altima. The license plate is Pennsylvania Registration JJG-8170. Police believe they may be travelling to Massachusetts, where the couple lived prior to coming to Lancaster.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the children and the Ahorrios is asked to contact Lancaster City Police at 717-735-3300.
