Earlier today an Amber Alert was issued by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) for the Lancaster City Police Department (LCPD) for two children who were abducted from a home in Lancaster. Philadelphia media is reporting that police stopped the car and the children have been found safe. One person is in custody.

Last night, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Eddie Ahorrio, Jr., 23, and his father Eddie Ahorrio, Sr., 47, abducted the younger’s children three year old Erielys Ahorro and four year old John Ahorrio from a home in Lancaster.

The Ahorrios had fled the area in a black Nissan Altima. The vehicle was stopped on Route 1 at the Schuylkill Expressway. The Ahorrio men had gone from Lancaster to New Jersey and were returning into the state when apprehended.

The children and their mother had been at the mother’s boyfriend’s house on Almanac Avenue, according to PSP. She and Eddie Jr. were still married. There was a physical altercation between Eddie Jr. and the mother’s boyfriend.

One person is in custody, according to Philadelphia media Action News. However who was the one captured and who is at large is still uncertain.
