Update: Michael Jackson homicide by propofol and doctor suspected
BREAKING NEWS: Cardiac arrest rather than drug overdose was reported to be the cause of death for Michael Jackson on Friday. Despite reports to the contrary, the official cause of death report for Michael Jackson remains unknown, until it is confirmed by the coroner.
While speculations of drug overdose have prevailed, including from family members, the Los Angeles County Coroner reports that "no foul play was involved."
The toxicology reports on Michael Jackson may take weeks therefore delaying the official cause of death determination and report.
"A person with knowledge of t
he situation" told The Associated Press that Jackson suffered a heart attack. This is not the same as a cardiac arrest but a heart attack can cause this medical condition due to blocked arteries.
Update: The Coroner on the Michael Jackson case released the following report:
The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner conducted an autopsy on the body of Michael Joseph Jackson, age 50, on June 26, 2009.
The cause of death has been DEFERRED pending the receipt of additional toxicological tests and tissue studies that have been ordered by the medical examiner.
There will be no final ruling as to the cause and manner of death until the requested test results have been received and reviewed in context with the autopsy findings. It is anticipated that this process may take as long as 4 to 6 weeks to complete.
Anatomical findings show no evidence of trauma to the body or evidence of foul play. At the request of the Los Angeles Police Department, additional case information is being withheld to allow their inquiry into the death to proceed.
Only a coroner can declare a cause of death.
"Heart attacks often lead to cardiac arrest, where the heart rhythm is disrupted and the heart stops pumping blood, said Dr. Douglas Zipes, an Indiana University heart specialist and past president of the American College of Cardiology," the AP report says.

Thanks for clearing this up with the coroner report. Michael Jackson doesn't deserve to be trashed. Lots of rumors on his cause of death include AIDS, drug abuse and his London tour. RIP MJ

Michael Jackson has been present for me since I've been alive. I grew up on him and his brothers, the cartoon, the variety show, the hits, the concerts. I love who he showed the world he was, but i'm sorry he never got a normal life. I pray that PM1, Paris, and PM2 get to live a normal life now that their dad paid the ultimate price for living an extraordinary life. Much glove love to u Mike.

“DON’T STOP TILL YOU GET ENOUGH”. In the movie "Almost Famous" about 15 mins in as the kid (hero) goes to interview the rock band, his mum yells out "DON'T TAKE DRUGS". That scene has taken on a medical meaning in my head supplanting the recreational one and is prompted by events such as MJ’s death. I've become a bit of a heath zealot (a health Nazi my brother calls me) but the damage drugs can do distress’s me. We avoid them in my house and use LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) for our back and neck pain, creaky arthritis joints and sports injuries. It's is much safer and improves healing (rather than making injuries worse like some pain relieving drugs do). Why would a person with the assets that MJ had NOT spell them out in a Will??Why would he name Diana Ross and not tell her? ..oh! and his dermatologist being the Father of the older 2 kids? Now isn't that convenient that he is the natural father to 2 rich kids that were being raised by a person he treated and wrote perscriptions for? "Diprivan" must be administered intravenously and should be in a hospital.The patient MUST be watched. The patient must be awaken by the health professional AFTER a certain amount of hours.
Michael Jackson was the best musician/ performer EVER! He will always be. His music , his moves, and his style will always be sampled by new artist. Now that he is not with us anymore the younger generations can begin to see how amazing he really was. As far as all the speculation on the cause of death, I say remember his life, how he touched millions. The media and hollywood will always try to sensationalize any story. Its a shame that he isnt even buried yet. My prayers go out to MJ's family and true friends and fans. Let us mourn in peace. GOD Bless.
