Once the store announced it had sold the winning ticket, Steve Tran remembered he had bought a ticket there.

ABC 7 News says:

"After discovering he had won, his wife gave him a smile and a massive hug. He told other family members and also called his boss and quit his job."

The other prize winner, Ira Curry, had already claimed her prize back in December. She chose to take the lump sum which amounted to $120 million after taxes were paid.

Says ABC 7 Local:

"The jackpot is the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history. It started its ascent Oct. 4."
