Many have wondered just what Kate Middleton and Prince William are having ever since she got pregnant. Now, she may have just let the information slip out by accident. US Magazine reported late on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, that Middleton may have accidentally let forth a little more information than she ever wanted to about the sex of their baby, and that it's a girl.
During a visit on Tuesday to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England, Middleton as given a white teddy bear at then event by a local woman named Diane Burton. She was gracious and thanked Burton.
"Thank you, I'll take that for my d--" Prince William's wife replied, tellingly cutting herself off mid-sentence.
At that point, Middleton stopped very short and smiled. She was asked by someone else whether she was about to say "daughter," and the local got the coy reply of "We're not telling." Another local woman named Sandra Cook heard everything going on and spoke to reporters later.
"I said to her: 'You were going to say daughter weren't you?' and she said, 'No, we don't know.'" Remarked Cook, 67, to the Duchess: "I said, 'Oh, I think you do', to which she said: 'We're not telling.'" Middleton, meanwhile, happily clutched the teddy bear gift.
It is known that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had recently learned the sex of their unborn baby. A source confirmed to US Weekly that the couple does know, "but they've only told their parents."
