Things have gone from bad to worse for Von Miller.
The 24-year old was reportedly pulled over in October and cited for careless driving, driving without a license or insurance, but failed to make it to his court date on December 31.
The team released a statement around 2 p.m. MT saying, “We have been aware of the matter involving Von Miller’s failure to appear in court for traffic violations. It was reported to the league earlier this week and is being handled through the legal system.”
He's been released from jail on a $1,000 bond, but this bad news comes at a terrible time for Miller.
Tomorrow is the day his appeal of the four-game suspension handed down by the NFL takes place; chances seem slim he dodges missing playing time now.
