Breaking Dawn star Ashley Greene: I love showing off my figure in pretty clothes

Ashley Greene, who wowed the red carpet at the Paris premiere of Breaking Dawn on Oct. 23, loves showing off her athletic physique in beautiful clothes. But don't expect to see Greene in any outfit that's too revealing or trashy-looking.

“I’m obviously a really huge fan of showing off your figure, but still being feminine and classy," Ashley says in the December 2011 issue of Flare. "I think there’s something to be said for keeping something to the imagination.”

Cardio, Strength-Training and Pilates

The 5'5" Greene, 24, who landed at No. 3 on the list of Best Summer Bodies of 2011, works out five days a week to maintain her ripped bikini body.

"I work out at Tracy Anderson's (Gwyneth Paltrow's trainer), and it's brutal," she said. "There's dance cardio, but they do a lot of (exercise) band work and 3-pound weight work. So you're toning and building muscle but you're not bulking up.

"I try and go 5 days a week if I can. They keep (the gym at) 85 degrees -- that's why I'm always sweating my butt off. I train at Harley Pasternak (who trains Megan Fox) sometimes too because he does circuit training. I go back and forth because you've got to mix it up."

While green-eyed stunner has the gorgeous face and body to look good in almost anything, she insists the key to sex appeal is working with what you've got.

Love Your Body & Work With Your Build

“I’ve certainly learned that every woman has a different body type so you have to learn to love yourself and work with what you have," says Ashley.

"If you were born with an athletic figure, you’re never going to have Scarlett Johansson’s body. Once you get past that, you become a lot happier in your clothes decisions and with yourself.”

Greene, who usually favors body-hugging dresses that show off her toned arms and legs, isn't a fan of following every new fashion trend.

“I think trends are dangerous," says Ashley. "Just because it’s a trend doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to work on you, and I think that’s where a lot of fashion mistakes are made.

"People just go with what’s hot and what’s hip. And for me, things overwhelm me easily so I have to be really specific about what I wear.”

Breaking Dawn, which co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner, comes out Nov. 18.
