Breaking Dawn Ashley Greene shows off her slim, toned physique in a geometric black and red Prada bodysuit in the February 2012 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
The ambitious brunette stunner has a strong work ethic from her years as a competitive cheerleader.
'My Bones Crack Now'
"I’ve fallen, I’ve gotten dropped—people have just not caught me," Greene says of her cheerleading days. "My bones crack now in ways that a 24-year-old’s bones should probably not crack!”
But the discipline and mental strength Ashley developed as a high-school athlete has carried over into her acting career.
Greene, who works out 5 days a week to maintain her slender bikini body, has parlayed her cover-girl looks into several lucrative modeling gigs, including her most recent one as the face of DKNY Jeans.
But Ashley wants to go beyond her Twilight fame and become an established actor and producer.
“I mean, I think I’m doing all right,” Greene recently told Lucky. “But the main focus is trying to solidify my spot in Hollywood because, you know, I’m not there yet.”
Rising Above Twi-Mania
Ashley admits she still struggles to land good roles.
"I won’t lie, there are times when I’m like, ‘Why is this so hard?’ ” says Greene. “You come off a high like Twilight and then you get dropped back down to reality.”
But Ashley is determined to make good on her goal of becoming a player in Hollywood.
“I’m so laser-focused on my career, because when you’re dealt these cards, if you don’t kind of run with it, then you’re an idiot,” she says. “You’ve gotta take advantage of what you’ve been given.”
