The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 star Patrick Brennan, who portrayed Liam of the Irish Coven in the film, happens to have two children whose names are the same as his and co-star Marlane Barnes' character names in the film, but according to him it's a total coincidence.
Liam, a toddler, was born long before he secured a role in Breaking Dawn - Part 2, but his infant daughter Maggie was born well after the fact.
While on tour with Barnes and co-star Lisa Howard last week in support of the Part 2 DVD, Brennan talked about the happenstance of his real-life Twilight connection and assured that baby number two's name wasn't spawned from his affiliation with the Saga.
"I guess I just always loved the name Maggie," he told a reporter at St. Louis' KPLR. (If Brennan happens to have a third child and names her Siobhan, though, the jig'll certainly be up!)
Even though his Twilight Saga counterpart had no influence on his son's name, Brennan's at least had some fun with the crossover potential by having the boy declare his allegiance to Team Liam via T-shirt in this Twitter picture.
Brennan also touched on the amount of support he's been getting from his mother, who just so happens to be famed TV star Eileen Brennan. "She's pretty happy for me," he said. "She knows being an actor's a rough road, but she's behind me."
