'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' has now grossed $100m more than 'Saga' second-placer (Photos)

As discussed earlier in the week, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is absolutely wrecking its own franchise's statistics on the worldwide front, and now a new milestone of such has been reached by the final Twilight Saga installment.

Per Box Office Mojo, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 has now out-grossed second-placer The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 by over $100 million. That's one hundred million dollars more than what Part 1 earned last year.

If that's not a strong end to a franchise, I'm not sure what is.

Breaking Dawn - Part 2 has now brought in over $812 million worldwide, and while its domestic intake - $287.8 million - has yet to out-do The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, it's still far and away the most lucrative installment of the entire series on a global scale.

If there was ever any doubt that Part 2 would ably rake it in, it's since been washed away with buckets and buckets of box office loot.
