The show that has everyone talking, “Breaking Bad,” is coming to an end in two weeks, but lead man Bryan Cranston already has his next project lined up. On Thursday, September 19, ComingSoon.net reports that Bryan Cranston will be headlining the upcoming “Trumbo” biopic based on Dalton Trumbo.
According to the source, Bryan Cranston will be playing the lead title role. “Trumbo” will center on screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, who was the highest paid screenwriter of his day. Trumbo was brought before Senator Joseph McCarthy’s House Un-American Activities Committee where he refused to testify and was in turn blacklisted. That didn't stop Trumbo though, and he continued to write under fake names and winning Academy Awards.
From “Seinfeld,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” Heisenberg, and small roles in films like “Argo,” it’s great to see Cranston now the lead in a movie. No release date for the film, or costars, have been announced.
