The final episode of the AMC drama "Breaking Bad" is just a few days away, and fans have no idea what to expect. On Thursday, September 26 Wetpaint Entertainment posted the spoilers fans should know going into the finale as well as a sneak peek video that sets up the final act. The sixteenth episode of season five, "Felina," will air Sunday, September 29 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
The title of the episode can be broken down into three separate elements on the periodic table. Those elements are iron (Fe), lithium (Li), and sodium (Na). Iron is a major component in blood, lithium is a chemical used to make meth which is the drug Walter makes on the show, and sodium is found in tears. It's possible the title is a clue as to what happens during the episode, just like in previous episodes.
The finale will stretch out longer than one hour. The official run time for the episode in seventy-five minutes and that includes the commercials. The previous episode was also extended to include more important footage. Fans can expect the focus to be on Walter, just like in the pilot and early in season one. The flash forwards from early in season five indicate Walter returns to Albuquerque and obtains the ricin. The finale will address how Walter deals with his new enemy but what the ricin is for is still up in the air.
The sneak peek includes footage from the entire series run, and explores the idea that the whole show is about change. Walter can be seen teaching chemistry and it's importance as well as his transformation from teacher to vicious drug kingpin. Heisenberg still has a lot of work to do, since no one takes his territory. The award winning series is known for it's drama and the cast has teased the ending is shocking but appropriate. Tune in to find out what happens to the characters in the final hour of the series.
