“Breaking Bad” ends this month and odds makers are indicating who they think will bite the dust before the end of the series. While the buzz online seems to bend toward Skyler being killed by Walt, the odds makers don’t see it that way, according to Entertainment Weekly on Sept. 13.
The series has offered two flash-forwards that seem to indicate Walter White is alive and well at the end of the series. Although folks seem to think that Walt makes it out alive, Bovada’s sports book manager, Kevin Bradley, pegs him as one of the least likely to be alive when the series ends.
The odds are actually in favor of Walt dying. Jesse dying at a young age by the end of the series is almost a toss-up, giving him just a little better chance of dying than he has of living.
Odds put Skyler living and the same thing goes for Saul, Walt’s lawyer. With “Breaking Bad” creating a spinoff around the Saul Goodman character, there’s almost no chance of Saul meeting his demise. The kids were never mentioned and as disturbing as this show can be at times, killing off Walt's kids just doesn't feel like a scene for the series end.
The closest odds are with Hank, as he's given just a tiny bit better chance of 50/50 to live. If this odds maker is right, Walt and Jesse are no longer for this world, but the rest of the cast will live on past “Breaking Bad’s” finale.
