"Breaking Bad" is getting ready to return to Channel 43 in Tempe. On Tuesday, Feb. 12, Slash Film shared new information about the finale of the series. Spoilers Guide also shared new spoilers for the final eight episodes of season five. This series is headed toward its ending, and fans now know that the same man that started the series will end it. Slash Film reported on Tuesday that Vince Gilligan will both write and direct the final episode. The episode will go into pre-production this month.
As for the series, some of the cast is also speaking out about the end of the series and what is to come in the final eight episodes. Anna Gunn revealed the following:
"It feels literally like the apocalypse. Walt’s actions have touched everyone around him, so we are all being affected. The world’s crumbling, and you’re watching everybody fall apart."
Bryan Cranston is taking charge as director of the mid-season premiere, and he also shared some teases for that episode as well. He revealed the following:
"There are going to be tears. There are two scenes with a neighbor lady named Carol. One is very sweet and nice. And one is not."
A major death is teased to happen before the end of the season. Spoilers Guide revealed that no one is safe as this series comes to a close on AMC.
No return date has been set yet for the final eight episodes of this series. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
