Aaron Paul, who’s played Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad” for the last five seasons, on Sept. 24, 2013, joked after being asked if he was afraid of being typecast as a drug dealer, that his career may be all “downhill from here,” according to TMZ.
The actor told the tabloid website, as he walked along a Los Angeles sidewalk, graciously mingling with fans and signing autographs, that he hopes he will have the opportunity to play a number of different roles, and appeared to be kidding when he said, “My career is downhill from here. We all know it!”
According to TMZ, Paul has won two Emmy Awards for his role as Pinkman, and he realizes the character will live on due to the massive fan base for the AMC series.
Sadly, “Breaking Bad’s” final episode “Felina,” will air on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 9 p.m. ET. The name of the episode is an anagram for the word “Finale,” according to a public statement by the show's creator, Vince Gilligan.
According to IMDB, Paul has nothing to worry about after the show ends, as he is in several upcoming projects due out in 2014, including the drama “Hellion,” currently in post-production; the comedy drama “A Long Way Down,” also in post-production; the action film “Need for Speed,” in post-production as well; and Ridley Scott’s “Exodus,” which is currently filming.
