It was “Baby Blue” by Badfinger, which was originally released on the Beatles' Apple Records. One fan called it “A perfect ending to a perfect show!” Another said, “ Hope this turns a huge new audience on to the great music of this band.”
Band member Joey Molland commented on Facebook, “I wish the lads were all here to enjoy things like that, It's a great Pete Ham song and a great Badfinger record, cheers everybody and thanks 'Breaking Bad' people.”
The show lasted five seasons and viewing parties were held all over the country to take in the last episode, Variety reported. One special party was held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary, where both the pilot and the finale were shown. Some tickets were scalped for $1,000, the paper said.
