The television show Breaking Bad did very well at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards winning for Best TV Drama and the fans couldn't have been happier. Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston also won for Best Actor in a TV Drama. On Monday the Breaking Bad fans are ecstatic as Netflix has announced the release date for the final episodes of the series.
“ICYMI, the final episodes of #GoldenGlobes Best TV Drama winner #BreakingBad hit #Netflix Feb. 24,” tweeted Netflix on Sunday night. The confirmation of the streaming shows had everyone excited. The show might be over, but the legend of the series definitely continues. Fans want to watch and see what plays out over the final episodes and get an idea of what they might have missed watching on television.
In case viewers didn't know, this series was one of the most popular on AMC. Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breaking Bad was the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), who has inoperable lung cancer. Turning to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine, he tries to secure his family's financial future before he dies.
With a set date and plenty of interest in the series, people are looking to see where the actors of the series are going next. For some that won’t be too far as Netflix is part of the new animated series, which in part is voiced by Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.
