As we approach another anniversary of the murder of John Lennon I'm sorry to say I found it very depressing listening to Chris Carter's XM Radio show this morning, not because of him, he has done wonders with the format, but the loss that not only happen to John but all the other people who have been murdered for reasons that are all beyond my comprehension..
Please remember what George Harrison said and that is not to mention the name of the murderer... let's not make a celebrity out of what he is "a murderer".
It is so very sad not to have John with us - he could have given us so much during the past 29 years - his death was tragic and needless - we have missed so much - Heartbreaking...
Chris Carter played at the beginning and end of his show how the news was broken by Vin Scelsa (WNEW 102.7).
That was the way I found out 29 years ago.....very chilling/numbing hearing it again.
