If you got a new blender over the holidays, break it in on this smoothie. Honey is used as a light sweetener, and banana, ice, 1% milk and a bit of vanilla extract combine to make a yummy and healthy treat.


  • 1 ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 cup 1% milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • dash nutmeg

Add the first four ingredients to your blender and whip into shape (thick, smooth, cold, yummy). Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve immediately.
