GRANTS PASS, OR (June 16, 2011) – Celebrate this 4th of July holiday weekend with delightful
organic white wines that are perfect for a sizzling summer celebration. Natural Merchants, LLC,
with headquarters in Oregon and Cartagena, Spain is proud to feature two worldly options made
with organic grapes from Italy and Austria: Pizzolato Fields Prosecco and Biokult Grüner
Veltliner. These two wines can be found throughout the Whole Foods network and other fine wine
retailers across the country.
Pizzolato Fields Prosecco is made from 100% certified organic Prosecco
Grapes. The grapes are handpicked and vinified using the Italian Charmat method,
with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel and secondary
fermentation in sealed tanks for 30 days. The wine’s color is pale straw-yellow
with greenish tinges. The nose has a delicate, fruity, characteristic, and the taste is
well-orchestrated, palatable and pleasant. Prosecco is ideal as an aperitif, dessert
or holiday toast, with a snack, or served with cold first courses including seafood
and light pasta dishes. It’s also a terrific mixer for special summer cocktails. This
wine won a Gold Medal at the 2008 Denver International Wine Competition
and was rated an 88 by Wine & Spirits magazine.
Suggested retail price: $11.99.
Biokult Brand Grüner Veltliner is made with organically
grown Grüner Veltliner grapes. The wine received a Silver Medal
