Syfy’s special effects make-up competition returns for a fourth season.
If you have never checked out the show it features a group of 14 contestants showcasing their make-up skills to in various challenges to create various over the top creatures and characters in hopes to win money and a possible future in the film industry.
The show is hosted by McKenzie Westmore, daughter of legendary make-up artist Michael Westmore with the judges consisting of industry make-up artist Glenn Hetrick (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), creature designer and director Patrick Tatopoulos (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans), and make-up artist Ve Neill (The Hunger Games). Throughout the series they have also had numerous guest judges including Kevin Smith, Brian Grazer, Paul W.S. Anderson and more.
Be sure to watch these insane processes put to the test and see some amazing creations come to life when the new season premieres on January 15 on Syfy.
