As reported by the Galaxy web site, the Angeleno team won at home with a lone goal scored by the Brazilian star Samuel against Mexican team Xolos Tijuana on Wednesday night. The match was the first leg of the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League tournament.

Samuel scored in the second half in the game against Tijuana. The goal was the first for the Angeleno team, and it was Samuel’s first goal with the LA Galaxy.

So far, so good for the Brazilian star who was signed from Brazilian team Fluminense. The striker was added to the Angeleno team to add more threat to the Galaxy attack.

The second-leg will be played in Tijuana, Mexico on Tuesday, March 18. The LA Galaxy has the advantage with a only a goal ahead, thanks to Samuel.
