Brazil takes control of Group of Death

A Brazilian fan looks for divine intervention as he watches the Group G match between his beloved Brazil and North Korea on a giant screen at the famous Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. It was the 3rd match of the day as the world watched in much anticipation for the debut of the 5-time World Champions. The North Koreans proved to be a worthy foe for Brazil but it wasn't enough as Brazil defeated Korea DPR 2-1.

Brazil next plays Côte d'Ivoire on the Sunday, the 20th in Johannesburg at Soccer City Stadium. Korea DPR next faces Portugal on Monday, the 21st in Cape Town at Green Point Stadium.
