The new season of Braxton Family Values (BFV) premieres tonight at 9pm on Wetv. Over the years, loyal viewers have watched the Braxton’s share with the world their highs and lows. Fans have enjoyed the singing, watching the sisters bond and support one another during personal struggles. Viewers have even weighed in on the family drama. So what can viewers expect this season? They can expect more drama. This season, fans will see Towanda express issues that she has with her sisters; Traci dealing with marriage woes; fuming tension when the sisters pursue making their family album; Tamar as she headlines the “Love and War” tour and Toni as she makes a Broadway comeback and releases her biography.
To kick off the new season, Tamar joined The Tom Joyner Morning Show and talked about everything from her take on no longer being the baby sister to her talk show “The Real.” "I don’t want to be looked at as a little sister. I want to be equal to my sisters," Tamar said. Although the sisters bicker, Tamar said they “agree to disagree, make up at the end of the day and then keep it moving.” Viewers will be sitting on the edge of their seats to see how Towanda and Tamar work out their issues with each other.
Tamar, the very outspoken sister known for her over-the-top phrases “Get your Life” and a fan base that she refers to as Tamartians spoke on success and shot down the notion that her head is big due to the overwhelming success of her solo career, the Braxton’s Family Values and her spin off show “Tamar and Vince.” Tamar tells listeners, “I’m the same old T. The only thing that has changed my life is the fact that I got a chance to live my dream and that should not give anybody a big head.”
The “Love and War” singer has talked about her dreams of becoming a solo artist and some of the pitfalls that happened along the way and although it took longer than planned for that dream to become a reality, Tamar uplifts Tamartians during the “Love and War” tour by telling them to never give up on their dreams.
On the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Tamar also talked about “The Real,” calling it “girlfriend check in hour.” On “The Real” viewers will hear discussion on everything from fashion, pop culture and relationships. The new mom also talked about her 1-year-old son Logan who she says is running, jumping and tap dancing. When asked if Logan was moving out of the way for another baby…… “God no honey,” Tamar said.
