“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” may be facing a big overhaul when it comes to the cast. While producers tried to spice things up by adding Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian, and Yolanda Foster, the current wife of music mogul David Foster, something just didn’t click. And reports claim that Adrienne Maloof isn’t returning to the show because of the legal drama with Brandi and that Camille Grammer is officially out as a housewife. But it sounds like producers are looking for new cast members. According to a new Radar Online report released on Mar. 7, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” producers are pursuing Penny Lancaster, the wife of rocker Rod Stewart.
“Now that Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer have quit the pressure is on to get them replaced quickly — and that is why they are going after Penny — in full force,” a source has revealed to the website. “She would make a great addition to the cast because she’s gorgeous, glamorous and has this amazing over-the-top lifestyle. Penny is flattered to be asked, but she sees what the show has done to past Housewives’ marriages, friendships and family ties — so, even though Rod would be fully supportive of her if she did join, she has no intention of heading down that same route.”
The show was supposed to be glamorous and show how wealthy people live. However, the show has become all about drama and fame, and it doesn’t sound appealing to people who are rich with very private lives. “Penny really has no good reason to join the show — she’s happily married and has a very loving family life,” the source continues. “She’s a successful photographer and has a great career in her own right, so she really wouldn’t really have anything to gain by signing up.”
