Bravo gives 'Real Housewives of Miami' season 2 makeover; 'Orange County' shines

After much sepculation and debate, "The Real Housewives of Miami" is actually going to be back for another season -- and there are several details when it comes to what is chaning.

When it comes to the reasons why, The Hollywood Reporter claims that there are several elements to why this show is coming back despite some pretty poor ratings:

  1. A botched debut - The first season of "Miami" was never meant to be a "Housewives" show, and it was changed into one following filming in an attempt to cash in. Now, the premise will be shaped around it properly.
  2. New cast members - Don't expect the same group of ladies to be around.
  3. The overall popularity of the franchise - "Orange County" debuted Tuesday to 2.3 million viewers -- which is an increase of 10% following last season. Meanwhile, "New Jersey," "Beverly Hills," and "Atlanta" are all faring incredibly well.
