On Jan. 16 Hollywood Reporter shared that Bravo has ordered a reality series unlike anything they currently have on their network. The show, whose title is still a work in progress, will be a reality series that features unusual and extreme parenting styles. Each episode will show two families doing things in their extreme way.
Eli Lehrer, the developer of this new reality series that he plans to feature everything from moms that breastfeed their children past the age of four, tiger parents, overly protective helicopter parents, to those parents that just don't give direction at all. Lehrer says that everyone likes to secretly judge other's parenting skills and now they will be given the chance to do so in the privacy in their own home.
Many people are also simply fascinated in seeing what sort of techniques they can adopt with their own parenting to hopefully become a more successful parent. The show is currently in progress still and Bravo hopes to air the series this spring. At one time, there was a show on the TLC channel that was similar to this premise but it wasn't a hit, hopefully Bravo can do it better.
