Bransons best birthday cakes to BLTs
It may not be a special day, but lunch at Sugar Leaf sure tastes and looks like a special occasion meal. It begins with a warm welcome when you walk in the door.
The salads are loaded with goodies and greens that turn a salad into a lunch entrée. I recommend any of the Sugar Leaf salads, each served as a work of edible art. The Orange Avocado salad ($5.99) and the Spinach Strawberry ($6.75) salads are served with the homemade salad dressings on the side.
Sandwiches, all made with Sugar Leaf’s own toasted Panini breads, are loaded with generous portions of fresh meats, cheeses, and vegetables. Unless you are really hungry, plan to share or save half the sandwich for dinner. That will leave room for dessert.
Come on, you know that’s really why you came. I gave in to the chocolate chocolate chunk muffin once and a chocolate chocolate chip cookie. Expect something different, warm and fresh baked everyday, maybe even pie or cake.
Also, there is a lighter summer version of chile with lots of ground beef, mushrooms and green pepper. Different quiche and soups are on the menu everyday.
Some of the most tempting desserts, cakes, and cookies ever are at Sugar Leaf Treats in the Grand Village. When it’s time to leave, you will get a sincere thank you. Every customer gets that special attention to meal presentation and great service.
Parties, weddings and reunions
Branson is a popular choice for family reunions, company retreats, weddings, birthdays and anniversary celebrations. Special occasions deserve a commemorative centerpiece, sweet treats or memorable wedding cake. Sugar Leaf bakers Todd and Lori Jansen create the most beautiful and tasty cakes and cupcakes in Branson. Check out a sampling of their desserts and cake designs on the web page
Traveling to a vacation destination can create some logistical challenges when it comes to having a big beautiful cake for a wedding, anniversary or retirement celebration. The best solution is to order fresh baked goods that will be ready when you arrive. Lori’s cake creations are as stunning or as whimsical as any high priced designer cake you might be tempted to bring with you for the celebration.
A sweet grand finale to any meal or meeting, you are sure to score points serving Sugar Leaf’s cakes, cup cakes or desserts. Remember these fresh baked art works for an anniversary, awards celebration, or graduation. Order early for holiday desserts.
When you’ve had your fill of Ozarks home cooking, try the freshly made soups, salads and sandwiches at the Sugar Leaf Bakery Café. It may be the best lunch in Branson.

I used to stop in for lunch and dessert (especially the dessert) every time I visited Branson, while they were located in the Engler's Block. My fave was the Coconut Cake. Wonderful!
I love the shopping at Grand Village, especially the Christmas store.
Bravo!!!...to Sugar Leaf!! We stumbled across them last week end (9.28.09) and had the best time! What a treat. As the article said, from cake to BLT..we had both and she is right. The price is unbelievably great. We can not wait to visit again. We've already got people seeking them out for their next trip to Branson.
What a refreshing experience.
