Hit songwriters Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally will bring the power of music to Nashville on Tuesday, Nov. 5 as part of the CMA Songwriters Series. The event will be hosted by fellow tunesmith Brett James (Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel") at the CMA Theatre at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and will also feature Love & Theft.
Clark has become somewhat of a songwriting commodity in recent years with such superstar cuts as Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart" (a CMA Song of the Year nominee this year), The Band Perry's smash "Better Dig Two" and Kacey Musgraves' new single "Follow Your Arrow."
Likewise, McAnally finds himself with four nominations at this year's 47th Annual CMA Awards, including in Song of the Year for co-penning Musgraves' Top 10 hit "Merry Go Round." He is also up for co-producing Musgraves' critical darling "Same Trailer Different Park" record. To-date, he has an impressive resume that includes songs recorded by Luke Bryan ("Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye") and Kenny Chesney ("Come Over").
Tickets are on sale today and run $30 for floor and mezzanine seating and $25 for first and second tier seating.
