Set to play the 16th Annual Hot Springs Blues Festival on Friday, August 31 at 7pm, will be Memphis, Tennessee’s own Brandon Santini Band. Featuring Brandon Santini (Vocals, Harp), Jeff Jensen (Guitar), Bill Ruffino (Bass), and Brian Wells (Drums), the band combines unique styles of Mississippi Hill Country Delta and Chicago West Coast Blues.
After being raised in North Carolina and learning Harp at the tender age of 15, Brandon Santini would eventually relocate to Memphis, Tennessee to begin his noteworthy music career with the Delta Highway band. After forming the band, Santini and his fellow band mates would eventually represent the Memphis Blues Society at the 2006 International Blues Competition held in Memphis, Tennessee. Throughout his lengthy music career, Santini was given the unique opportunity to perform in Cairo, Egypt as part of the Bluzapalooza music festival event. Through this international event, Santini became one of the first American Blues artists to perform in the country.
After playing with Delta Highway for over six years, Santini would branch off to work on other successful music projects. With influences such as Muddy Waters, Kim Wilson, and Junior Wells, many listeners became infatuated with Santini’s inspirational techniques and sounds which are comparable to that of legendary musician and singer John Popper. Santini would be endorsed by Seydel Harmonica Company and would gain extensive radio airplay on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.
Since being signed to Electro Glide Records in 2011, the Brandon Santini Band have been busy recording and promoting their music across the globe. Shortly after signing to Electro Glide Records, Brandon Santini would release his much-anticipated debut release Songs of Love, Money, and Misery. The album featured Electric Blues, Funk, and Jazz-inspired original tunes. After releasing the 11-track album, the band would go on to travel across the globe including stops in Norway, Germany, Belgium, Holland, and many other locations.
