When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination.
2013 Fall season- Week 3- September 16th- September 22nd
Brandon Messer- Bangor Christian- Soccer- Scored three goals in 8-0 victory over Schenck. Scored four goals in 11-1 win over Searsport. Scored one goal in 3-0 victory over PVHS.
Messer joins Brad Wilcox and Ben Bragg as student/athletes from Bangor Christian that have earned AOW.
Messer has helped the Patriots get off to a 4-0 start this season. They have outscored opponents 26-1,
Dan Marquis- Hampden- Football- Had three touchdowns including a game winning interception return for a touchdown with under one minute to play in 32-26 victory over Skowhegan.
Damon Lincoln- Woodland- Soccer- Scored four goals in 8-1 victory over Narraguagus. Scored a hat trick in 4-3 loss to Calais.
Evan Hong- Foxcroft- Soccer- Scored four goals and had one assist in 9-0 win over Dexter.
Nick Fortier- PCHS- Soccer- Scored two goals in 4-1 win over Penquis.
Nate Burns- PCHS- Soccer- Scored two goals in 4-1 win over Penquis.
Cole Beal- Jonesport-Beals- Soccer- Recorded a hat trick in 4-1 victory over Shead.
Caleb Shaw- Central- Soccer- Recorded a hat trick in 7-1 victory over Bucksport. Had one goal in 2-1 loss to Hermon.
Peter Boyer- Foxcroft- Football- Rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries and had a 55 yard punt return for a touchdown in 28-27 victory over Belfast.
Corey Bjornson- Foxcroft- Football- Rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns in 28-27 victory over Belfast.
Trevor Fogarty- Dexter- Football- Threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns plus he rushed for 112 yards in 21-6 victory over Stearns.
