Brandon Jacobs rips 49ers Jim Harbaugh; Giants RB takes shot at former coach

Brandon Jacobs may be newly retired, but the fire for the game he loves and the New York Giants still burns bright. The former Giants and 49ers running back wasn't happy with his one year he spent in San Francisco and is now letting people know what he thinks of 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The New York Daily News reported on Jan. 24 that Jacobs spent eight seasons with the Giants but back in 2012 he tested the free-agency market and joined the San Francisco 49ers, which Jacobs now says was the biggest mistake of his NFL career.

In an interview with CBS radio, Jacobs describes leaving the Big Apple was a mistake, and oh yeah, he thinks coach Harbaugh is a "b----!"

Wow, that seemed to come out of nowhere.

“I have one regret in my career, and that’s going to the 49ers when I could have stayed in New York,” Jacobs said. “I just wanted to see what stuff was like with another team and it didn’t work out.”

“It is what it is,” he said. “I’ve got two rings. Harbaugh, though, he’s a bitch. So it doesn’t matter.”

The trash talking never seems to end in the NFL, not during the off-season and not even when you are retired! You can click here to hear a sound clip of Jacobs interview.
