Brandon Brown wins NGA Hooters Tour Event at Cherry Blossom in Georgetown

Local player, Brandon Brown from Shelbyville, Ky. won his second NGA Hooters Tour event of the year today at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky. by one stroke, shooting 18 under for the tournament.  Brandon fired rounds of 70, 66, 66, and 68 to play solid golf all weekend and bring home a $28,000 paycheck.  The win makes Brandon the current money leader on tour at over $75,000 for the year.  Brandon grew up playing in the Louisville area and is known for being a small guy that is super long off the tee.  Brandon set the course record at Cherry Blossom a few years ago in their inviational, so he is no stranger to playing well at Cherry Blossom (that record was broken last year in the Hooters Tour event by Chris Erwin with 59!).  Congrats to Brandon!
