“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville is hoping to find peace with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife, LeAnn Rimes. On Feb. 12, Glanville spoke with “Access Hollywood” about the tumultuous relationship she has with the country music star who famously had an affair with her husband.
"I don't think we'll be friends, but I hope we can coexist peacefully," Glanville said of Rimes. "Once she has a child of her own, I think she will understand boundaries and what's respectful to do and how to handle things a little better."
In recent months, Rimes has referred to Glanville’s two sons, Jake, 5, and Mason, 9, as “my boys.”
Glanville’s perturbed response? She tweeted: “Someone is trying 2 get under my skin by calling MY children ‘her boys’ Sooo transparent! They R MY boys, Eddie Boys and ur step-sons … 4 now.”
But the reality star and author of the just-released book “Drinking & Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders” is adamant that she doesn’t want to see her ex-husband divorce his superstar sugar mama.
"I don't want anything bad to happen to him because he's the father of my children,” she said. “I want him to work and flourish and I want him to stay with LeAnn forever. I don't want my kids to go through another divorce or breakup and I want to make sure she's stable and happy."
Glanville, who’s currently on tour to promote her new book, stopped by “The Today Show” on Monday and said she hasn’t had a relationship with Cibrian and Rimes in over a year.
“I mean, down the road, do I want to be at Mason’s high school graduation and be able to sit next to them? I do, absolutely,” she said. She also vowed: “When this book tour is done, I’m done talking about them completely in public, not on Twitter, nothing, this is my last chapter when it comes to talking about them publicly.”
