Brandi Glanville says there would not be a successful 'RHOBH' without her

Brandi Glanville is well aware that she brings "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" lots of publicity. As reported by Radar Online on Tuesday, Dec. 17, Brandi even went so far as claiming that without her, there would be no show.

“Honestly, if Carlton Gebbia and I hadn’t kissed, I hadn’t said this stupid joke [against Joyce Giraud] and Lisa Vanderpump and I hadn’t gotten into a fight, we wouldn’t have a show. I’m just being honest," she said on her Podcast One show.

Brandi said that she brings the drama because that's what she's paid to do.

“They pay me the big bucks to be an a—hole,” she explained.

She admitted that sometimes it does get hard playing the bad guy but that she keeps at it because it gives her what she wants and needs - financial security.

“I’ve been blessed in the opportunities I’ve been given through the show. You have to take the good with the bad. It sucks, but at the end of the day, I’m shopping for a new home," she said.

While Brandi Glanville's antics are surely driving press coverage, it's debatable whether all the fans are watching solely because of her. After all, the show had a very successful first season completely without her, as well as a second season in which she appeared only as a "friend of the housewives."

One person who clearly doesn't think that Brandi has done any good for the show is former star Taylor Armstrong, who told TMZ in November that Brandi ruined the show.

How do you think "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" would do without Brandi?
