LeAnn Rimes has been approached by producers of the reality television show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Radar Online reported on Feb. 21. Allegedly Bravo is aggressively pursuing Rimes in an attempt to spice things up “in the 90210.”
Adding LeAnn Rimes to the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” would be like throwing gasoline onto a blazing fire. LeAnn had an affair with Eddie Cibrian when he was married to Brandi Glanville. Cibrian eventually divorced Glanville to marry Rimes. Glanville has had nothing nice to say about Rimes, and recently said that LeAnn makes her want to throw up. Glanville has also said publicly that Rimes can “go f**k herself” and laughingly referred to LeAnn as “the little tramp” on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
An insider at Bravo said:
“Executives at Bravo have told LeAnn that appearing on the show [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills] would be a great opportunity for her to get her side of the story out and no longer be seen in a negative light.”
Allegedly Rimes has refused the offers from Bravo, claiming she does not want any “added drama” in her life. LeAnn has a successful music career and “doesn’t need to do a reality television show.”
Some fans of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” enjoy Glanville's open, honest, no-holds-barred way she talks about the break-up of her marriage and the pain it continues to cause her and sons Jake and Mason.
While fans may enjoy watching Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes at each other’s throats each week on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” it would not be mentally healthy or physically safe for the two women to be exposed to each other under the high pressure involved in filming the Bravo reality show.
