Earlier this morning, rumors surfaced that country singer LeAnn Rimes is in talks with Bravo producers to join the upcoming fourth season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And while many fans immediately assumed that Brandi Glanville would be reeling over the though that she may have to share the spotlight with the woman who stole her husband, it turns out that she actually feels the complete opposite.
"Brandi is a very smart cookie and recognizes that if LeAnn were to join the cast, the audience would hate her even more. Brandi loves playing the victim and having LeAnn on the show would allow her to continue in that role as the long-suffering, spurned ex-wife," a source told Radar Online on February 21. "Brandi wants to become Bravo’s next Lisa Vanderpump or Bethenny Frankel and have her own spin-off show; having LeAnn join the cast will almost cement that desire. Viewers love Brandi and her book has seen a very strong debut."
Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like Brandi will be getting her wish. Sources have claimed, also to Radar, that at this time, LeAnn has no interest in joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills -- or any reality show. Instead, she's going to continue to focus on her "flourishing music career."
