Brand new: The Summer Set releases 'Lightning in a Bottle' music video

Phoenix-based band The Summer Set have released their new music video for their single Lightning in a Bottle off their latest album Legendary. The song itself has a very carefree, do-what-you-want, live-it-up message, and that is reflected perfectly in the video, with the basic plot being the band breaking into an old, empty warehouse and jamming out like no one is watching. The simplistic video idea meshed with the catchy chorus radiate an extremely empowering, energetic vibe that is sure to inspire you to get up and have fun.

The album Legendary really embraces the idea that living while you're young is important to achieving the ultimate happiness in life. It makes you feel like anything is possible and that there are no limitations to what you can do. The album is prefaced with a speech from lead singer Brian Dales in the opening track, Maybe Tonight that gives people a sense of empowerment and adventure and really sums up the message of the album. It reads as follows:

And then suddenly it hit me.
That moment when you realize you're not half empty.
That moment of all moments.
Like there is music in the night and we can dance the sun out of the sky.
These are the nights when everything feels possible.
Maybe one day we'll fall short of the stories we tell,
But tonight we are more than just words on a page.
We are here, we are different, and we are everlasting.
We are half moon kids.
We are legendary.

The band is fresh off of their headlining tour, entitled Legendary Unplugged which gave fans the unique opportunity to listen to the new album live in its entirety performed acoustic in small, intimate venues. They will be taking their tour overseas in just a few days with opening acts William Beckett and Paradise Fears supporting them. The Summer Set also performed at the Macy's iHeartRadio Music Festival with acts such as Queen, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars, which was made possible through winning the fan-voted Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star competition. They will also be featured on the Van's Warped Tour this summer, which showcases bands from all across the world at a day-long music festival.

You can find out more about the band and find their tour dates for the Legendary UK Tour on their official website or the band's official Twitter page and purchase their album Legendary on iTunes. The Van's Warped Tour is stopping by Quail Run Park in Mesa, AZ on June 18th. Tickets are still available through Warped's official website.
