How much do you know about Beatle trivia? "The Lads From Liverpool," a new app just out for the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, tests your knowledge with what it describes as the largest collection of Beatles trivia in the Apple App store.
The app, from TourBuddy Systems LLC, features questions about the band, their music, the members and their lives both on and off the stage. The trivia questions are displayed randomly. Questions range in difficulty and the points earned for each question vary. You can see some of the questions in the slideshow at left.
Here are a couple of questions that we had to answer in the first couple of plays:
- What book was John Lennon's assassin carrying when he was arrested?
- Where did the Beatles make their TV debut? (Answer is not "The Ed Sullivan Show")
- What artist did the artwork for "The Beatles Anthology" set?
- What member of John Lennon's band suggested they change their names from the Quarrymen to the Beetles?
Results can be posted on Facebook or Twitter through the app.
"The Lads from Liverpool" is available from the Apple app store with free updates included for 99 cents. Users with multiple devices can download it once and play it on all your devices universally.
TourBuddy Systems LLC also has produced a Rolling Stones Trivia app.
