It’s a bustling night at Bradley’s Fine Diner on Heights Boulevard in Houston.

Chef Bryan Ogden is busy assisting his staff getting dishes out at his restaurant where couples and acquaintances are enjoying a comfortable, relaxed setting.Ogden opened Bradley’s Fine Diner with his father, two-time James Beard Award winner, Chef Bradley Ogden with a focus on the Seasonal Modern American cuisine. This fare, served in an upscale, casual environment with attentive, informative staff, celebrates the best loved dishes created by the senior Ogden during his 35 year career.

Chef Bryan Ogden, regarded as one of the nation’s top young chefs, attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and hosted the opening of the Funky Chicken, also located in the same strip center in December in Houston. The two restaurants are operated by Bradley Ogden Hospitality, started in 2012 by Chef Bradley Ogden, his son Chef Bryan Ogden, and operations specialist Tony Angotti.

A few of the appetizers include Olive Oil Poached Pacific Sturgeon, Crispy Baby Artichokes and Maine Lobster Tamale. It’s easy to round out those inital servings with Starter choices like Spring Garlic Soup, “Shake & Bake” Frog Legs, Broken Arrow Ranch Quail and Pea Angolotti and Carrot Ravioli.

Entrée choices offer a wide variety to choose from with Yukon Gold Potato Perogies, Slow Roasted Berkshire Pork Loin & Cheek, Seared Maine Diver Scallops, Free Range Chicken, Oak-Grilled Center Cut Prime Rib Eye, Pan Roasted Atlantic Black Cod and Bradley’s Yankee Pot Roast.

Desserts, colorful and creative, address the sweet, tart and decadent. Diners can pick from Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie, Key-lime Frozen Yogurt & Mountain Huckleberry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate-Banana Cake and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. All guests receive at the end of the meal Bradley’s Fine Diner’s Butterscotch Pudding complete with a brown sugar-rosemary cookie, vanilla bean whipped cream.

The beverage menu includes an American driven wine list, a draft and craft beer selection, and a unique variety of custom, hand-crafted cocktails.
